Vegan Chick-fil-A Sauce
Vegan Chick-fil-A Sauce that’s just as good and tasty on a sandwich or nuggets, and it’s even available on Sundays!

So if you’ve ever been to Chick-fil-A you know one of the big draws is their signature sauce. It really is one of the most delicious and unique sauces I’ve ever tried.
Apparently it was invented when an employee accidentally mixed the BBQ sauce and Honey Mustard together, and boy what a happy accident that was!
The good news is we can veganize this quite easily by using some Vegan Mayo, and Vegan Honey!
why you’ll love vegan chick-fil-a sauce
Seriously, this sauce is addictively good! Obviously it’s great on a Vegan Chick-fil-A Sandwich, Nuggets, Waffle Fries and in fact it’s good with just about anything deep fried!

To be honest, I’ve been known to take a spoonful and just eat it like pudding straight from the fridge, it’s that good!

ingredients for vegan chick-fil-a sauce
- Vegan Mayo – use your favorite store-bought or make some at HOME!
- BBQ Sauce – just like the mayo, use your favorite!
- Yellow Mustard – some recipes call for more mustard than mine, so if you want yours to be more mustardy, add some more!
- Vegan Honey – I have a recipe you can make, or you can also use agave or maple syrup.
- Seasonings – most recipes online don’t call for additional spices but the ingredients listed on the package mention garlic and onion, so we are adding that along with some cider vinegar.
how to make vegan chick-fil-a sauce
To make the sauce, it’s quite easy! Just mix all the ingredients and refrigerate it for at least 4 hours to let the flavors mingle. Honestly, like Tom Petty says, the waiting is the hardest part!

Then you can enjoy it anyway you like!

This is super tasty and since I used tofu mayo, it’s pretty healthy, too. Way better than the Cashew based one I tried. I LOVE Chick Fil A sauce, but it’s just so high in fat and calories. So glad to have another option.
Awesome glad you liked it, and that it worked with the tofu mayo!
