Vegan Tuna Salad

Here’s 3 recipes for my favorite Vegan Tuna Salad! Bright and zippy, these are perfect with crackers or on a sandwich!

Making Vegan Tuna Salad is something of a rite of passage for a lot vegans. Mashing up some Chickpeas and adding them to a dressing is one of the first things I think I did. And I’ve been doing it ever since!

I’ve also realized that there’s a few ways to make Vegan Tuna Salad. You can also use Jackfruit (my personal favorite) and Shredded Tofu! Or you can combine 2 or all of them! In fact the Chickpea and Jackfruit might be my actual favorite!

Not only that, but all of these are ready in about 15 minutes. You can store them in the fridge for about 4 days so you can whip up a quick snack or sandwich. And since they don’t involve any cooking they are perfect for warmer weather.

And they are all great for a picnic, potluck or BBQ too!

For the dressing, you can use some Vegan Mayo or Unsweetened Vegan Yogurt. I’ve actually been doing half and half of each and I love it for a lighter option!

And obviously, you can customize these to your heart’s content! While I really dig all of these, you should always feel free to add or subtract whatever you like. Except raisins, please don’t add raisins to this recipe!!

Now I don’t claim that this tastes exactly like non-vegan tuna salad. Even though I recommend adding some Furikake or Nori Sheets, it’s not gonna be a 1:1 replica.

That said, it’s still super freaking good, and I’ve definitely have had much worse non-vegan tuna salad, so in my opinion the seasoning is key!

So here’s 3 recipes that I’ve been eating non-stop along with a recipe for a Vegan Tuna Melt too!

Jackfruit Tuna Salad

Like I said, this one is my favorite. The taste and texture of jackfruit is just unparalleled in my humble opinion!

Chickpea Tuna Salad

The classic vegan meal! And for good reason, it’s delicious and nutritious!

Tofu Tuna Salad

If you want something higher in protein, then using some Tofu is your best bet!

Vegan Tuna Melt

If a Grilled Cheese and Tuna Salad had a baby, this would be it! One of my all time favorites!
