Vegan Tartar Sauce
A Tangy, Zippy and extremely dippable sauce, this Vegan Tartar Sauce is loaded with herbs and good on just about anything!

Traditionally Tartar Sauce is used with Seafood, but since we are vegan around these parts, it’s great on just about anything Vegan Seafood wise!
In fact, I just made this with my Vegan Crab Cakes and I don’t know if there’s a better combo!

It’s also super good on a Filet No Fish!

Or with some Tofu Salmon!

ingredients for Vegan Tartar sauce
- Vegan Mayo – this is the base of the sauce. You can try using unsweetened vegan yogurt if you want something with less fat, but I’m not sure how good it’ll be!
- Dill Relish – You can also use Sweet Relish if you like it sweeter!
- Capers – These really add a nice fishy zip to the sauce!
- Lemon Juice – or Vinegar, but Lemon is ideal!
- Fresh Dill & Chives – I highly suggest using fresh over dried!
- Minced Garlic – This gives a nice bite to the sauce to round out the fat of the mayo and freshness from the herbs.
How to make Vegan Tartar Sauce
Simply whisk everything together! Store in a airtight container and use within 4 – 5 days.

My family loves this, even with dry dill and no chives!
Excellent! Yes dry herbs work too, thank you!
