Vegan Club Sandwich
An American Classic Sandwich but plant-based, this Vegan Club Sandwich recaptures everything I loved about the original!

Before going vegan, a Club Sandwich was something I would consistently order, just like a Patty Melt, or a Tuna Melt, I couldn’t get enough of this classic US American dish!

And the great thing about making a Vegan Club Sandwich is you have so many options for the fillings!
ingredients for a Vegan Club Sandwich
For the Deli Slices, you have two main options. Seitan and Tofu!
- Turkey Deli Slices – When I originally made this I used my Deli Turkey Slices which are made with seitan, these work great!

- Ham Deli Slices – You could also use my Ham Deli Slices as well!

- Tofu Deli Slices – If you don’t do Gluten, you can make some Tofu Deli Slices! While these are easy, I have an even EASIER Quick Tofu Deli Slices recipe too!
And of course you can use your favorite store-bought deli slices too! I used the new Tofurky slices for my Italian Sandwich and it turned out amazing!

- BACON – For the Bacon, while I do have a Rice Paper Bacon recipe that I love, I find that my Tofu Bacon recipe works better as Rice Paper Bacon can get a little soft if it’s touching wet ingredients like a tomato or mayo. So if you use the Rice Paper Bacon, keep that in mind! And of course, you can use your favorite store-bought vegan bacon too!
- Lettuce & Tomato – Iceberg or Romaine, and get a nice big juicy tomato! Make sure you add salt and pepper!

- Vegan Mayo – I have 3 options! Or use store-bought!

- Cheese – Use your favorite sliced Vegan Cheese!
- Bread – White, Wheat, Sourdough, use whatever you like!
how to make a Vegan Club Sandwich
Once you’ve made your deli meats and bacon, it’s really just a matter of building your sandwich! I do recommend toasting your bread, but just a light toast. You want it to be sturdier but not super hard and dry. You can also pan fry it in a little butter which is my preferred method!

Then simply build your sandwich! I like to basically make a Turkey Sandwich with a BLT on top!
