Vegan Caesar Dressing
This Vegan Caesar Dressing is the best I’ve ever had, leaps and bounds better than anything you can get in the store!

Vegan Caesar Dressing was never something I enjoyed until I made some at home. For whatever reason, I just couldn’t find anything at the store that hit the notes I remembered of the original!

Well, I’m happy to say that this Vegan Caesar Dressing hits all the notes and has an encore as well! And it’s also super easy to throw together!

ingredients for Vegan caesar Dressing
- Vegan Mayo – We’ll be using this as the base for the dressing. You could try using Unsweetened Vegan Yogurt for something lighter, but I haven’t tested it out.
- Capers – This is gonna replace the Anchovies that you typically find in traditional Caesar, to pack a lot of salty, umami goodness!
- Nutritional Yeast – This will take place of the usual Parmesan, a little goes a long way!
- Worcestershire Sauce – Yes, they make Vegan Worcestershire! If you can’t find it, try subbing with some Steak Sauce, or a teaspoon of Soy Sauce.
- Garlic, Lemon, Dijon Mustard – I prefer fresh garlic, but you can sub with some Garlic Powder if you like. Lemon Juice is best, but vinegar can work too. And a touch of Dijon Mustard is always nice!

how to make Vegan Caesar Dressing
To make the dressing, simply combine everything in a bowl and season to taste! Make sure you mince the capers too!

Use it on a Caesar Salad or Wrap!

Or with some Vegan Crab Cakes!

storage
The Caesar Dressing will be good stored in the fridge for about 1 week. Thought it never lasts that long in my house!
I recommend dressing any salad immediately before eating. Don’t dress it and then store it for later as the salad will get soggy.

I agree with Brian, this is the best Caesar dressing going.
Haha, thanks Matt! Appreciate it!
Best Caesar dressing!! My 11 year old said it was her favourite salad dressing ever, which is high praise from a picky eater.
Always love when we can win over the picky eaters, thank you! Stoked to hear this!
I finally made it and it didn’t disappoint, now I’m going to make this every time I make my vegan caesar chicken salad. This is going to replace the one I thought was vegan, because it said dairy free, but contained eggs.
Oh no, I hate when that happens! I make this just about every week, so good to have on hand, thank you!
This hit the fucking SPOT! I’ve seen a lot of Caesar recipes popping up lately with the weather warming up, so I had a craving, and knew your version would be a one a done!
I was running low on mayo (but high on Caesar cravings), so I did half Vegenaise and half TJs vegan cashew yogurt, and it was grand!
Heck yes, so glad to hear this, thank you!
