Shawarma Seasoning

Shawarma Seasoning is deliciously complex with a lot of depth! However, it’s super versatile and can be used on a variety of dishes!

Obviously Shawarma Seasoning is great on Shawarma, but I’ve recently made some Burgers with it, and that burger has to be in my top 10 if not top 5 right now!

I’ve also dusted some fries with it, added it to some broccoli, honestly it’s probably good on just about anything!

How to make Shawarma seasoning

If you have a Middle Eastern market near you, then you can probably find a pre-made Shawarma seasoning. But I really think it’s worth it to make at home.

Admittedly, this seasoning blend does require a lot of spices, however, they are mostly pantry staples. So hopefully you have them on hand. If you are missing 1 or 2 it won’t be a deal breaker either!

But all you need to do is literally just combine all the ingredients together. You can blitz them in a spice grinder if you want, but I didn’t find it necessary.

storage

Store it in a jar and use as you wish! Should last at least 6 months!
