Vegan Big Boy

Servings 1 Burger (with extra red relish)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Plant-Based Meat Patties⁣⁣⁣ 3 oz each
  • 2 Slices Vegan American Cheese ⁣⁣⁣
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Iceberg Lettuce⁣⁣⁣
  • 2 Tbsp Vegan Mayo
  • 1 Large Sesame Seed Bun + Bottom Half of another Bun⁣⁣⁣

Red Relish

  • 2 Tbsp Chili Sauce*
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp sweet relish

Instructions
 

  • Combine ingredients for the Red Relish. Stir until well combined. ⁣⁣Season to taste and then set aside in the fridge.
  • To prepare your middle bun (aka the Club), use a serrated knife and shave off just the bottom of the extra bottom bun.
  • Form or press your burger patties so they match the circumference of your buns.⁣⁣⁣
  • In a skillet or griddle over medium heat, lightly toast buns and set aside. ⁣⁣⁣
  • Then over medium high heat, add the burger patties, season with salt and pepper, and grill on each side for about 3 minutes and then give 'em a flip.
  • After you flip the patties, add a slice of vegan cheese to each one and cover with a melting dome / lid. ⁣⁣⁣You can add a little water before covering to steam the cheese too!
  • Once Cheese is melted, assemble as follows; Bottom Bun, Vegan Mayo, Lettuce, Burger Patty, Middle Bun, Vegan Mayo, Burger Patty, Red Relish, Top Bun. ⁣⁣⁣
  • ENJOY!⁣⁣

Notes

*Heinz Chili Sauce should be easy to find in the US, however use whatever brand you can find!
