If grilling on an outdoor BBQ grill, you won't need the Smoked Salt or Paprika. If cooking burgers on a skillet, you can add them for an extra Smokey flavor. Just mix them in by hand.
Weigh out 4 oz for each patty. Form patties either by hand, or by pressing between two pieces of parchment paper with a burger press or stiff spatula.
Get an outdoor BBQ grill or indoor non-stick or well seasoned cast iron skillet heated over medium heat. Dry toast the burger buns until golden brown. Remove and then add the burger patty. Season with salt and pepper (you can skip the salt if you added the smoked salt).
Grill burger patty for 3 - 4 minutes or until well browned. Then flip, add the vegan cheese on top. Squirt a few drops of water and cover the pan to melt the cheese. If using a BBQ grill, simply cover with the lid.
Once cheese is melted, remove and assemble burger from bottom to top as follows: bottom bun, cheeseburger patty, pickles, ketchup, onions, tomato, lettuce, mayo, top bun. Enjoy!
