Vegan McDonald's Cheeseburgers

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz. plant based meat like Impossible or Beyond*
  • 1 slice vegan American cheese
  • 1 hamburger bun
  • 4 slices dill pickle
  • 1/2 Tbsp dried onion + 1 Tbsp water
  • Ketchup & Mustard
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl add the dried onions and water, stir and let rehydrate for 5 - 10 minutes. Drain excess water.
  • Form or press your burger patty so it matches the circumference of your buns.⁣⁣⁣
  • In a skillet or griddle over medium heat, lightly toast buns and set aside. ⁣⁣⁣
  • Then over medium high heat, add the burger patty, season with salt and pepper, and grill on each side for about 3 minutes and then give it a flip.
  • After you flip the patty, add a slice of vegan cheese and cover with a melting dome / lid. ⁣⁣⁣You can add a little water before covering to steam the cheese too!
  • Once Cheese is melted, assemble as follows; Bottom Bun, Cheeseburger, Pickles, Onions, Ketchup and Mustard, Top Bun. ⁣⁣⁣
