I've found that the following is my favorite way to cook these. Slice the tofu thin. Spray with some cooking oil, and Air Fry at 375 for about 8 - 10 minutes or until they are browned and crispy.
Make a simplified Marinade with 1 Tbsp Vegan Mayo, 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce, 1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke, 1 Tbsp Vegan Worcestershire, 1 tsp Sriracha, 1 tsp MSG or Salt to taste. You can also use 1 - 2 tsp of Browning Sauce or Dark Soy Sauce for color. Whisk together (or blend for a better emulsification)
Dip the air fried tofu slices in the marinade and cover thoroughly. Add back to the Air Fryer and continue to Air Fry for 2 - 3 minutes, keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
These are super crispy and delicious, enjoy immediately!
