I've found that the following is my favorite way to cook these. Slice the tofu thin. Spray with some cooking oil, and Air Fry at 375 for about 8 - 10 minutes or until they are browned and crispy.
Make a simplified Marinade with 1 Tbsp Vegan Mayo, 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce, 1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke, 1 Tbsp Vegan Worcestershire, 1 tsp Sriracha, 1 tsp MSG or Salt to taste. You can also use 1 - 2 tsp of Browning Sauce or Dark Soy Sauce for color.
Dip the air fried tofu slices in the marinade and cover thoroughly. Add back to the Air Fryer and continue to Air Fry for 2 - 3 minutes, keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
These are super crispy and delicious, enjoy immediately!
